Buckley

This area was planted with trees many years ago and has been recently fenced, and set aside as a wildlife haven.	Bird boxes have been placed around the pool to encourage nesting birds.

Buckley Angling Association have an ongoing interest in not only angling but maintaining the Water and it's surroundings to benefit birds and animals alike. On the top of the "Rock" to the rear of the "Sand Bank" we have created an enclosed area and fitted it out with both bird and bat boxes. These will be monitorred throughout the coming years and hopefully they will be well used. In addition to the conservation area we have sympathetically created wood piles with branches cut from the trees around the pool. This also creates habitat for the likes of hedgehogs, mice and shrews and should be left undisturbed.
